A Woman’s Place Project CIC:

  • A catalyst and umbrella for cultural projects and advocacy where female equality provides the contextual backbone.
  • Working with artists, heritage, education, environmental and community partners to nurture ambitious high quality projects
  • Supporting women and people who identify as women who work in the arts with the aim to create better, fairer working practices
  • Reaching diverse cultural audiences and those new to contemporary art to develop a deeper understanding of our shared histories with a view to creating a sustainable, equal society.

The Directors of A Woman’s Place Project and A Woman’s Place Project are Lucy Day and Eliza Gluckman.

Education and Outreach:  We are currently working with Quiet Down There and the artist Alinah Azadeh, who will be developing a new project working with local communities through workshops and activities which explore the themes that underpin A Woman’s Place.
