Nina Đurđević

Object(ive)

In line with modern perceptions of a woman’s body and it’s evaluation, and the author’s current intimate research, this series of self-portraits tackles the concept of a woman in quasi erotic, widely accepted social and intimately unidentified individual context. She questions her own eroticism against the existing system of values, while (auto)ironically dwelling on the aesthetics imposed by visual – and, thus, intellectual – premises of society and its perception and treatment of women.
