Contemporary Ideas on the Relationship Between Autobiographical Memory and Photography will be the most comprehensive book to date in this field of enquiry. As it will bring together practitioners who are theorists and theorists who are practitioners this will be the first book that will look at autobiographical memory and photography from these multiple perspectives.
It will help nuance the debates about how self-actualisation happens in relation to the complex landscape of our media and image-saturated world. As we live our lives through images and memories, the memory of images and the images of memory, this book will create new and significant transdisciplinary knowledge. The autobiographical turns we are living through today urgently need a book like ours to help us understand the world we navigate ourselves through.
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before January 29, 2022, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by May 29, 2022, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission.
