As the second largest provider of specialist Creative Arts education in Europe, The University for the Creative Arts is seeking to appoint a dynamic Digital Development Manager to increase its capacity to share the extraordinary work produced by its students, staff and associates across its four creative campuses at Farnham, Epsom, Rochester and Canterbury.

The Digital Development Manager will be a talented, creative, well informed digital native with a demonstrable understanding of content management systems, web development, search engine optimisation (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), digital analytic reporting and some experience of Web Marketing. This role will also manage the University’s Digital Development Team.

As a member of the departments Senior Management Team (SMT) this role will take responsibility for positioning UCA as the leading creative arts university in the UK through the development, implementation and delivery of the University’s main CMS system for online marketing and communications campaign activity in support of the core student recruitment campaign undertaken under the guidance of the SMT.

The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker and strong technical manager who is able to display an understanding of creating compelling web user journeys and experiences as well as being able to manage the creation of rich media collateral in the context of an education brand with the skills to generate innovative ideas that can be part of an integrated campaign approach to recruiting students.

As a competent communicator and great team-player, with a proactive approach, you will be adept at keeping up to date with the current online and digital media trends, while constantly horizon-scanning upcoming opportunities. This role is perfect for someone looking to expand their experience in leading a growing digital team with a strong component being the technical management of our CMS system
