Freelands Foundation are looking for an Education Curator who wants to expand their practice, explore the potential of creative pedagogies, and develop projects and research into experimental art education. Through their education programmes, they work with teachers and educators to develop diverse and ambitious approaches to art education and support teaching as artistic practice. They currently do this through a number of strands of programme including ARTISTEACHER, a regular forum for art teachers and educators to explore the principles of teaching as artistic practice; projects with schools and SHIFT, their online series of videos sharing varied practices, approaches and philosophies within art education.
The Education Curator will work closely with the Head of Education to shape and develop the overall programme and contribute to strategy and areas of research.
