The TSD Photo team supports students supporting students and staff in processes relevant to their specialist practice and maintaining and developing their professional capabilities in their specific field.

Glasgow School of Art are seeking a technical manager who will enjoy working in a creative and dynamic educational environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the workshop and provide line management to a team of staff.

You will provide support, coordination, and leadership to the Photo team and work in partnership with other teams to ensure a consistent approach across Photo and other technical resources at GSA.

You will develop and maintain a welcoming and accessible community resource responsive to student needs while ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines and best practice.

You should be qualified to HND level or have equivalent experience in an area related to the team’s work with knowledge across a broad range of photographic processes.
