So many words to choose from and ILFORD want you to pick just one then go out and shoot an image that encapsulates it. ILFORD are looking for strong well shot and printed images that make the viewer believe that they can see, hear, think or feel the word that you have chosen.

Photograph using ILFORD PHOTO or Kentmere black and white film and print the image yourself in the dark room on either ILFORD PHOTO or Kentmere traditional black and white photographic papers. Minimum print size must be 8×10 inches.

Entry is open to students of any age who are undertaking a full or part-time course at a UK based school, college or university.
