Job:The Photographers’ Gallery-Communications Assistant

 

Hours: 32 hours per week (Variable hours including some evening £19,000 -22,000 pro-rata depending on experience). Pension 4% of salary. Annual Leave 25 days pa pro rata

The Photographers’ Gallery is the UK’s leading centre for the presentation and exploration of photography in all its forms and a dedicated home for an international photographic community. Established in London in 1971, it has been instrumental in reflecting photography’s pivotal role in culture and society and championing its position as a leading art form through a rich programme of exhibitions, talks, events, workshops, courses and other activities

To work with the appropriate team members to promote the Gallery, its exhibitions and activities through third party promotions, partnerships, advertising, direct mail, online, joint marketing, on-site publicity and print distribution.

To help ensure that the brand blueprint, visual identity and style guide is effectively communicated across all platforms and rigorously adhered to by Gallery staff and external partners.

To liaise with key stakeholders, partners, sponsors and third parties to ensure regular updates and both their and the gallery’s needs are met and executed to the highest standards

To support the DoC in production of reports, presentations and other communications for internal and external purposes
