Source has teamed up with the Royal Opera House in London to announce a graduate scheme for an in-house photographer. If you are taking part in BA Graduate Photography Online this year, or took part in the last two years, then you will be automatically considered for this role.
It is a six month salaried position (£22,700 per annum, £11,350 for the six-month period) based in Covent Garden with occasional travel outside London and across the UK to support wider ROH events and initiatives. There will be two photographers selected for the position. The selection will be made by photo editor and producer Alicia Hart.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to gain valuable experience in a professional role. The Royal Opera House has long been committed to diversifying its workforce both back stage and in arts administration roles and this new position supports the desire to grow the talent pipeline, ensuring access to arts roles for all. The role covers a diversity of internal commissions from departments across the Opera House. These could include working with the many craft departments (props, costumes, set design), public events, back stage or rehearsal photographs.
