In September 2018 Karen Knorr and Anna Fox launched their exhibition, Another Way of Telling, curated by Hao Xsu, at Shanghai Center of Photography (SCoP). To connect with this show, SCoP in collaboration with the British Council organised a mentorship initiative for 10 emerging women photographers (selected by SCoP). This was a day-long event of portfolio reviews, networking and discussion with Karen and Anna from Fast Forward, Karen Smith from SCop, Nataline Colonnello from Three Shadows, Shenqilan an independent art historian and Zhang Fan from Jiaotang University .

From this event the 10 emerging photographers that we met started the group A Room of Our Own and the work below represents their latest projects.
