Tian DingDing

Tian DingDing is interested in identity and more particularly the blurring between make and female identity that many people now want to explore. Her subjects are often about everyday objects, sexual minorities and photography itself. In addition to focusing photography on the object of observation, she is also exploring the relationship between the presentation and exhibition of photography. IN BETWEEN is an ongoing project about non-binary gender and the space in between. DingDing is trying to contextualize the feeling of fluidity within gender in our daily lives and surroundings. With the intention of showing that gender is an abstract feeling of ourselves, she documents the way non-binary people want to express themselves through photography.
