“The Orinoco basin is an isolated area of Colombia where many places are accessible only by boat. This image is part of a project describing it through the eyes of local women,” says  Juanita Escobar, who tells the story of her image in her own words as part of the The Guardian’s Global Development monthly series  Women Behind the Lens.
