WHAT’S YOUR STORY? SHOW US YOUR SIDE OF LIFE.
Side are inviting you to take part in MySide, their open call for photographs of everyday life. Every few months they set a new theme, and this time they want to see “Local Colour.”
Side are asking you to photograph the colour of the place where you live. Not just bright surfaces, but the details, moods and small signs of life that make somewhere feel like itself. A row of front gardens coming into bloom, clothes on washing lines, painted shop fronts, market stalls, football strips, fruit crates, murals, fairground lights, bus seats, sun on brick, or the strange mix of colours that only seems to belong to your street.
As spring arrives, colour begins to return to the landscape. But local colour is not only seasonal. It can be found in the look of a neighbourhood, the character of a community, or the visual rhythms of everyday life. Side want to see where you live in all its colour.
