Applications are now being accepted for the Brian Tremain Bursary; a chance for photography students, recent graduates and early career professionals to receive a free ticket to attend the Association for Historical and Fine Art Photography (AHFAP) Conference 2026 on 9th and 10th November plus one year’s association membership.

This is an exciting opportunity to explore a career in cultural heritage photography, hear about cutting edge imaging and digitisation projects and the chance to meet leading figures in the field and see demonstrations of the latest equipment.

Brian Tremain was one of the founding members of the AHFAP. His Family have generously sponsored an annual bursary in remembrance of him for a number of years, aiming to help fund attendance to the association’s annual conference. Each individual funding includes a conference ticket and costs towards travel and accommodation, plus a year of free AHFAP membership.
