Amandine Kuhlmann presents her video installation Cash me Online at the Studio of the MEP. Created in 2023, this project, blending performance and video, explores social media as a space for representation and staging.

Amandine Kuhlmann creates a hypersexualized alter ego that exists online and in performances, adopting poses inspired by social media trends. Her project Cash Me Online juxtaposes diverse sequences, ranging from Mukbang videos to Clean Girl wellness tips, blending her own images with found footage. By using deepfake technology, she heightens the artificiality of these staged performances to critique the commodification of bodies and the norms imposed on women in digital spaces. Her sarcastic approach invites reflection on these social pressures and their impact.
