Celebrating female creativity is at the heart of what we stand for at the Women’s Prize. Consequently we were thrilled to have Anna Fox, acclaimed photographer, join us at the 2022 Women’s Prize for Fiction awards ceremony.
Recently awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society, Anna’s work has been included in numerous international exhibitions including at the Tate Modern, Centre Pompidou, Yale Center for British Art and is in collections at the V&A, the National Gallery Washington and the British Council amongst others. In 2010 she was shortlisted for the Deutsche Börse Prize for Photography and is currently Professor of Photography at University for the Creative Arts.
Since 2014 Anna Fox, together with her colleague Maria Kapajeva, has instigated, developed and promoted Fast Forward: Women in Photography, a research and development project based at University for the Creative Arts in the UK, designed to promote and engage with women in photography across the globe.
