The exhibition “Civilizations: Under One Sky” presents the inaugural session of the Ras Al Khaimah Contemporary Art Biennnale. The exhibition presents civilizations as living dynamic systems, shaped by identity, memory, spirituality and imagination.

The contemplative video composition of Soti Konavishayonot, and Stefano Kagul’s performance illustrated under the midnight sun, explores the memeditics. Photographs of Hesham Ben Hood and Mary Hudlo offer new perspectives on the human body and symbolic heritage. Other works reimagine tradition as resistance and memory.
