Dark Tales: Britain and Ireland Through a Gothic Lens explores the complex relationship between the gothic and documentary photography in Britain and Ireland. Drawn largely from the Martin Parr Foundation collection, on display will be photographs from the post-war era to the turn of the 21st century which invoke a sense of terror and wonder at the tangible and psychological realities depicted.
The exhibition features works by Anna Fox, Lee Miller, Sue Packer, Sarah Pickering, Jo Spence and Janine Wiedel amongst others.
