The film premiere of Picture This is showing at UCA Farnham on 26 February 2026, 1730-1930h.

Picture This is a heartwarming portrait of three groups of women – in Edinburgh, Farnham and London. The women are from refugee and migrant communities and a women’s refuge, they have all had to leave their own countries or homes because of war, sexuality or to escape abusive relationships.

Professor Anna Fox, an internationally renowned photographer and university lecturer introduces us to the different participants as they receive inspirational training while they learn to use photography to reinterpret their experiences and to create moving photographic images. Through a series of industry visits, industry partners and visiting lectures Anna introduces the women to aspects of the industry with the aim of helping them develop future careers in and knowledge about the photographic industries.
