Fotofestival Lenzburg is a photography festival in Switzerland that showcases contemporary local and international photographic works. Over several weeks, the festival presents international exhibitions, vernissages and encounters with artists.
For the seventh edition the theme is Happiness in its endless permutations and contradictions. Often discounted as a critical category because of its seeming superficiality, happiness appears as a driving force in our lives nowadays. We all look for happiness in different places: how can images help us understand what happiness is and what its limits are?
Exhibitions include: Eva O’Leary’s Happy Valley; Siân Davey’s The Garden; Karla Hiraldo’s Voleau
You Can Have It All; and Alice Poyzer’s Other Joys.
