Marianne Hirsch is the William Peterfield Trent Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University and Professor in the Centre for the Study of Sexuality.
She is the author of ‘School Pictures in Liquid Time: Reframing Difference’ (2019), ‘The Generation of Postmemory: Visual Culture After the Holocaust’ (2012), ‘Ghosts of Home: The Afterlife of Czernowitz in Jewish Memory’ (2010) and ‘Family Frames: Photography, Narrative and Postmemory’ (1997).
The Talk will take place in the Kissam C210, Multi-purpose Room at 1200h. Lunch will be provided.
