Call for contributions: Conflict & the Creative Arts Conference 2021

What do we mean by conflict and what is its relationship to artistic practice? What is the role of artistic practice in transforming individuals and societies in contexts of conflict?

The University for the Creative Arts will be exploring these areas at the Conflict & the Creative Arts Conference 2021, a one-day online and in-person conference on the 21 October. They are looking for contributions from Undergraduate and Masters students, from anywhere in the world.

Here’s how to get involved as a contributor.

Submit a 500-word paper or a five-minute video on what you think the relationship between artistic practice and conflict is. We’ve detailed some ideas on questions you might address below. The best four entrants will sit on a panel to discuss their ideas at the conference as well as having their papers/ videos published online.
