If you have sound experience of digital photography and associated techniques, this is your opportunity to join the Photographic Studio team here at Royal Museums Greenwich. We can offer a role that’s as varied as it is challenging – not to mention a genuinely inspiring working environment, with the National Maritime Museum, Queen’s House, Royal Observatory Greenwich and Cutty Sark set within this Unesco World Heritage Site.
Carrying out photography, scanning, post-production and printing, you will ensure that we create and supply high-quality images for a wide range of internal and external clients. There’s the chance to get involved in both studio and location work, as well as investigating how we can best utilise new technologies including 3D photography and time lapse.
With a relevant to degree or equivalent qualification, you must bring first-rate Mac skills encompassing Adobe Photoshop, colour management and the MS Office suite. You should also be a strong communicator and team worker with a meticulous ‘right first time’ approach and a real interest in cultural heritage.
