Salary: £74,198 – £83,487 per annum
The University for the Creative Arts is looking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the position of Director Research and Education.
The Director Research and Education has responsibility for the leadership of the University’s education and research strategies including senior management of the research office and creative education and employment teams.
The Director Research and Education is a member of the University Executive Group and as such will work with colleagues in the Leadership Team, Heads of Schools and Directors of Professional Departments to ensure academic excellence in line with University goals. The post will provide academic leadership of the research environment and make a significant contribution to developing research excellence within the academic schools.
We are looking for a candidate who will take forward an ambitious research and education strategy for the University. You will bring experience, vision and strategic capability to the role and demonstrate a track record of research development in the disciplines of the University with high level outputs and a sustainable, resilient and engaged approach to a senior leadership role.
The Director Research and Education will be based at the University’s Farnham Campus and will be expected to travel regularly to all university campuses.
