A Room With Your Views

Turner Prize winner Gillian Wearing, OBE, is HOUSE 2016’s Invited Artist and brings to Brighton & Hove the world premiere of Your Views, one of the largest collaborative film projects ever produced. The film will show May 2016 at the University of Brighton Galleries in A Room With Your Views, an exhibition co-commissioned by HOUSE and Brighton Festival.

Your Views features short clips filmed by global participants of their curtains or blinds opening to reveal views from their windows. Like the curtains going up at the beginning of a stage play, each view is a pictorial unveiling of a landscape, cityscape or even a brick wall.
