We are seeking a Conservator of Photographs and Paper to join the Conservation Department. This new full-time, permanent post, is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy studio dealing with a wide range of photographs and paper objects.
The Conservation Department fulfils a major role in helping the Museum deliver its wider objectives. It has a worldwide reputation for the excellence of its practical work, for innovative ideas and for pioneering the scientific and ethical approach to conservation, also for sharing this expertise.
You should have a recognised qualification in Photographs and/or Paper Conservation and at least 2 years working experience.
You will be expected to bring a portfolio with 2 – 3 examples of your work to the interview.
