Job: Project Manager at Candlestar

Candlestar is an internationally acclaimed cultural consultancy with an outstanding reputation within the field of photography and the arts. Since 2008 Candlestar has run the Prix Pictet and in 2015 it inaugurated Photo London which is now approaching its third edition at Somerset House in May 2017. We are committed to the development of a team of outstanding individuals who have the drive, entrepreneurial approach and commitment to sustain and build upon Candlestar’s achievements to date.  We are now seeking to supplement our team through the appointment of an outstanding Project Manager.The post holder will be expected to work in a flexible and pro-active manner as part of a small team of highly committed professionals who work across a range of different projects to ensure that Candlestar’s reputation for excellence is maintained.

Job Scope

The Project Manager is responsible for project administration and management – liaising with participants including artists around the world. This role will suit an individual with experience in managing communications campaigns/agencies, including proven track record of working on complex projects with tight deadlines.

The successful candidate will be a great communicator. They will have excellent analytical and writing skills and proven ability to work under own initiative.
