The Institute of Arts is seeking to appoint an academic to the post of Lecturer in Photography, based within the successful BA (Hons) Photography course located on the Brampton Road Campus in Carlisle.
The successful candidate will teach across the department’s photography practice provision with responsibility for practical photography modules and the provision of photography IT skills and support marketing, recruitment and the student journey.
Applicants will need to have a successful track record in delivering a high quality Higher Education experience and a thorough understanding of the subject within a national and international context. It is expected that the successful applicant will be research active with a current exhibition and publication record and studied at or be prepared to engage with doctoral level study and undertake personal research and appropriate staff development opportunities where applicable.
