Goldsmiths are recruiting a Lecturer in Photography. The role holder will contribute to the delivery, development, and leadership of teaching across the BA Photography programme and associated photography modules on BA Media & Communications and other programmes within the School. They will support a critically engaged, practice-led and research-informed curriculum that reflects Goldsmiths’ reputation for experimental, interdisciplinary, and socially engaged photographic practice.
Goldsmiths are looking for a candidate that emphasises teaching excellence, curriculum innovation, and pedagogic scholarship within a critically engaged, practice-led context. You will play an exciting role in the further development of our photography teaching across a number of programmes including the newly launched BA (Hons) Photography. You will need a solid background in professional practice and be familiar with the current trends in photography, it’s expanded practices and wider visual culture.
Goldsmiths’ School of Media, Communications and Cultural Studies is one of the longest established departments for teaching and researching media in the world.
