Hypha are partnering with MPB on their 70:15:40 Project UK, which aims to help redress barriers and challenges faced by UK women, trans & non-binary people in photography & videography.

The open call is for female identifying photographers who want to submit a photo series on the subject of ‘Change’.

The Project’s name reflects the fact that today, while women comprise 70% of photography graduates, only 15% of professional photographers are women—who earn an average of 40% less than men.

The 70:15:40 Project UK launched in 2023 with four winning artists selected for their work: Violeta Sofia, Hanna Ali, Roman Manfredi & Paloma Tender.  Their work is being celebrated in Hypha’s Euston gallery in October – November. The submitted artworks for this open call will be exhibited alongside these fantastic artists.
