Photoworks are launching an open call for final year BA students and final year MA students graduating from photography courses in 2020. Selected work will be featured this summer in their online magazine Photography+ which reaches 20,000 people every issue.

In addition to this selected photographers will receive a year-long Photoworks membership and a bespoke mentoring from the Photoworks team. Further, our printing partner Spectrum is generously offering a £200 credit to a selected graduate.

How to enter

The Open Call is free to enter.  Simply submit up to six images by 28 June 2020 accompanied by a short text (100 words maximum).

Please be aware that you can enter once with one single project only! We cannot accept multiple projects but the project does not necessarily need to be your final graduation project. You can submit any recent body of work.

We welcome your application if you are a current (2019-2020) final year BA student or final year MA student.

We encourage submissions from Persons of Colour; LGBTQ+ applicants; those identifying as disabled; those with caring responsibilities; and/or those from lower socio-economic backgrounds.

We will do our very best to help you to submit your work and, if selected, support your participation in the opportunity. Please contact Julia Bunnemann, Curator, Photoworks, julia@photoworks.org.uk if you have any further questions.
