Part Time Post: 18 hours

We are seeking to appoint an energetic, knowledgeable and engaging Pathway Leader to join the School of Further Education at Canterbury. You should be an experienced practitioner/lecturer with creativity and skills in photography, film and animation. The successful candidate will deliver across a number study programmes including the Foundation Diploma, Extended Diploma in Art and Design and Access to Higher Education.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent delivery skills and have knowledge and understanding of the expectations of the Common Inspection Framework and Ofsted outstanding.  Previous and proven outstanding teaching experience is desirable.

You will have a good honours degree, a PGCE, great professional experience and detailed knowledge of contemporary developments in the subject area and wider creative industries.

You must be able to communicate a broad range of practical and theoretical issues through hands on teaching, seminars and tutorials. You must be able to inspire and motivate students.
