As Lecturer in Photography, you will teach across the Creative Industries provision with a specific focus on Photography. You will provide course leadership and tutorial support in some or all of the following; A-Level Photography, Level 3 BTEC Photography and HNC/D Photography for Industry.

Hardworking and flexible, the successful candidate will hold a degree or a relevant professional qualification in an area relevant to the School and have excellent teaching skills, recognised as a good or better teacher. You will have experience of successfully monitoring and supporting ‘at-risk’ learners to achieve or exceed their potential and be capable of working well under pressure to agreed deadlines.

We’re looking for an individual who has high personal standards and expectations and who has good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills with good attention to detail. You should be receptive to new ideas and initiatives, have a creative approach to problem solving and be familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email.

In return, we can offer you a salary of £21,210 – £36,131 per annum (pro rata) and a fantastic benefits package which include a generous holiday entitlement of 37 days’ holiday plus an additional 13 days’ scholarly leave. You will also be entitled to up to 7 additional efficiency closure leave during Christmas / New Year, 8 Bank Holidays, access to the cycle to work scheme and the childcare voucher scheme.
