Photography at Nottingham Trent University has been long-established with an excellent record of student achievement. The next chapter in Photography’s development is its place in the creation of the Nottingham Centre of Creative Technologies, an interdisciplinary centre of excellence in higher education and research in Design and Creative Technologies, the first of its kind within the UK.
The School is seeking a Principal Lecturer to lead our highly reputable Photography courses. Within this role you will be responsible for the academic management and subject/curricula development. You will be required to teach and supervise students in aspects of photography with a focus upon commercial and digital photography. You will also be required to contribute to the continual development of the new Centre and serve on School-wide committees as assigned by the Head of Department. Responsibilities will include line managing and developing the academic team, day to day management and overseeing teaching, learning and assessment to ensure our student satisfaction and employment record remains high.
