Teacher of Art (Photography Specialist) Cranleigh seeks to appoint, for September 2021, a strong honours graduate to teach Art and Design with a specialist interest in Photography within a fine art tradition. This post would equally suit someone who is looking to start a career in the subject, or someone who already has experience in the teaching profession. The successful candidate will teach classes in Art from years 9 to 13 in a lively, ambitious and successful Department, as well as taking a full part in the life of this busy and friendly boarding school and will be expected to get involved in all aspects of this busy boarding school (which would normally include one evening duty per week), including acting as a tutor to a group of students within a Boarding House and some delivery of the School’s PSHE programme.
