The Wapping Project – Berlin Residencies

The Wapping Project is delighted to announce that the application for the Third Residency at it’s Berlin home is now open.

The successful applicant will reside for eight weeks in a turn of the century Berliner apartment in Kreuzberg.

In 2016, The Wapping Project Berlin will host three 8-week residencies between June and December.

Applicants must be at least 33 years old to be eligible and practice within the following disciplines:

Fine Art
Film
Photography
Choreography
Composition
Literature
Architecture
Design (Furniture)
Curation

The sole condition is that the resident must make NO work during the residency, using it for rest, recreation and reflection – a serious creative pause.

The successful candidate may be accompanied by a partner and up to two children.

 

 

The residency is open to applicants fully committed to their careers in the arts, music or design.

The programme is not open to students.

Age minimum at the time of application 33 years.

Deadline for applications for the third residency 17 April 2016 midnight BTS.

The shortlist will be announced by the 2 May 2016.

Shortlisted applicants might be required to provide further information about their practice by the 9 May 2016.

The awardee will be announced on the 18 May 2016.

Previous applicants may not reapply within a 12 month period.Application fee 30.00 GBP
