Working within the Photography Department and the Subject area of Art and Design, this role is responsible for providing outstanding teaching and learning primarily of theory and contextual study for all areas of photographic practice at undergraduate and graduate level. Successful candidates will undertake teaching, assessment and delivery within our BA (Hons) Photography, and proposed MA Photography courses. This also includes delivery in studio and workshops, one-to-one and group delivery, leading seminars and group critiques, working on live industry projects , supporting student participation in competitions and events, related administrative duties, research and a personal tutoring role.
This role is Part-Time ,0.5 FTE, permanent.

Applicants should hold at least a Masters Degree within the broad field of photography and related forms, or equivalent professional experience, and be able to relate the key conceptual debates framing the location and transformation of photography in historical and contemporary culture and contexts.
Successful applicants will have engaged actively in research, publication, income generation, and/or professional practice in recent critical/theoretical approaches to the expanded field of photography and its related forms.
It is expected that you have experience of delivering a first-class student experience within a higher education environment.
