Unseen is in search of a new Artistic Director to join the board of directors in a full-time position (40h/wk) at the start of April 2019. The Artistic Director will be responsible for the artistic programme and artistic output of all Unseen companies (Unseen Amsterdam, Unseen Media, Unseen International, Unseen Foundation). With our aim to always put artists first, the Artistic Director is responsible for finding new and innovative ways to showcase their work, as well as discovering and promoting exceptional artists that work in experimental ways within the medium of photography. We are looking for someone who has a rich experience working within the international art world, who has in-depth knowledge of the photographic landscape and has a strong network across the various artistic disciplines. Being a hybrid and dynamic organisation, Unseen is looking for an Artistic Director who wants to join us at the forefront of the art world and inspire a team of young professionals in order to grow and nurture a constantly evolving platform for photographic artists.
