The publication presents the project Putting Ourselves in the Picture 2, organised and edited by Fast Forward: Women in Photography has been designed to engage marginalised womxn in new knowledge concerned with photographic industries and to extend the impact of Putting Ourselves in the Picture part 1 which empowered women to use photography in pertinent ways to tell stories about their own lives.
The publication is designed as a case study of this impact project and is an exciting new development in this ongoing and vital project.
The project was developed in partnership with five pioneering organisations: Women for Refugee Women and Autograph in London, Creative Response in Farnham, National Galleries of Scotland in Edinburgh and Work Show Grow online. This second part of the project, Engaging with Industry, is supported by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (grant number AH/Z505602/1), University for the Creative Arts and all our partners.
