Lise Saxtrup’s I Don’t Think You Were the Same and Now I Wonder, Was I? is a hand-made publication, published by independent publisher Blankt Papir – run by Julia Mejnertsen. We found the Photobook shortlisted for the @fotobookfestivalkassel this year when it was exhibited at @photoirelandfst, (later published and in stock at @tlp_says). With this publication, Lise portrays a relationship and its development and change over a period of time, through glimpses and her personal constructions and reconstructions of moments, memories, and events. The book is divided into 3 booklets (or chapters) lending a cinematic tone to the work through the presented montages and snippets of time.
