Join the international WAPG community Saturday 1 July 2023 for their very first WAPG online meet-up.
You will have the opportunity to share your practice in a safe space with like-minded lovers of alternative photography. As well as learn all about upcoming interviews, events, and opportunities happening at WAPG.

Pecha Kucha Style Presentations
Pecha Kucha is a style of presentation where the presenter shares 20 slides. For each slide, you will speak for 20 seconds. The total length of the presentation last 6 minutes and 40 seconds. These are a great way to share your practice with a new community.
If you would like to be one of the five people who present their work in the Pecha Kucha style presentation please make sure to select Pecha Kucha as your ticket during checkout. It will be first come first serve.
To participate in the PechaKucha-style presentations please prepare the following
- You will have a total of 6 minutes and 40 seconds to present
- Please prepare a slideshow with 20 slides in PowerPoint or saved as a PDF and send to womenaltphotogroup@gmail.com before the meeting begins
- You will have 20 seconds per slide to speak about the work
WAPG online meet-ups are designed to build community, share work, and learn about the exciting possibilities of alternative photographic processes. They are held online and will be recorded to accommodate those who are in different time zones, have busy schedules, are not able to travel due to caregiving responsibilities, or are not able to travel due to disability and funding barriers. Tickets are free. Registration is mandatory in order to receive the zoom link.
Women Alternative Photography Group is a feminist research project celebrating women, non-binary, LGBTQIA+, and gender-diverse artists from all backgrounds working with alternative photographic processes. Everyone is welcome to join the WAPG online meet-up.
