2020 is a turbulence year that witnessed many women leaders shows their talent during the pandemic across the world while on the other hand, women across the world affected largely for the sick of disease, poverty, violence and other issues in every perspective. In a world where men and women are still unequally represented in photographic book publishing, the five photographic/art books I have selected this year cover issues such as war, life, violence, the search for cultural identity, and more, mapping out the common problems faced in the upward spiral of human history on different levels.
